Ahhhh, to be gearing up for the planned Christmas markets that we had all signed up to and applied for in June! I love the wrapping up warm, sipping mulled wine and perusing all the stalls thinking about who we could gift what to as much as being on the other side of the table having prepped a Santa sack of goodies and meeting everyone that was looking for a special something for a loved one that year.
Unfortunately, this year won't be quite the same, BUT, we are doing our best to provide various platforms for small business and indies locally, and across the country, to be seen in this ever busying online space and still provide that perfect gift for you.
So, this blog post is two fold really. It will serve as a little reminder of where you can find Bitesize Bakehouse and I popping up on your screens over the festive period, but also hopefully help as a bit of a catch all for a place to help search out where to look online for your gifts this year. I will also keep coming back to update the links below so that they remain useful - and if you know of any others I have missed, do let me know. Happy to include them!!

15th November, All Day - Instagram - Shop Small Christmas UK Follow @shopsmallchristmasuk for a huge variety of small business options that might tickle your fancy. They have a few days of this Online Christmas market and will be showcasing so many brands from across the UK for you to look through.
28th November, 12noon - 1pm - Facebook - Saffron Walden Online Craft Fayre If it's more local talent you are after, why not check out the Craft Fayre which has now moved online? Click through on the name above to sign up for the event and there will be loads of local creatives around (a different one each hour) to tell you a little about what they are offering over the Christmas period.
4-6th December, All Day, - Red Magazine Online - Red's Online Christmas Boutique The biggest online event I am involved in and SO super stoked to be a part of!! Red Magazine have curated a beautiful bank of small businesses in one place for you to do your Christmas Shopping this year. There are some incredible discounts available during these three days that are not to be missed!! Click the link above to register your interest (completely free for browsers/buyers) so you don't miss out. We will be there (find us in the food & drink section!) and hope to see you too. Saffron Walden Virtual Christmas Market A group full of virtual stalls, located in the Albums section (we are stall 29!) that you can browse through at your own leisure.
Virtual Christmas Market 2020 Not one I am a part of personally, but still looks good and I will be checking out myself!
Cambridge Local Gifts One of the nicer laid out local online spaces to check out! I'm not on there (...yet!) but really love you can search without time restrictions and, similar to Red Online, using different categories that are relevant to you rather than everything all in one continuously moving feed.
I think the whole shopping experience is going to be really different this year - both for buyers and sellers. I am wishing you all the best on your Christmas shopping journey and hope these help a little with the changes we all have to work around at the moment.
